There are many opinions about Lovina. Some say it's a backpacker's paradise, some say it's like Kuta 25 years ago. The trend we see is that North Bali is developing itself as a residential area as well.
More and more foreigners buy a villa in North Bali nowadays. And that's not strange. North Bali doesn't suffer from mass-tourism, and property prices are still pleasantly lower when compared to other areas of Bali.
It takes about 2,5 hours to drive from the airport in the South of Bali, to the Villa in Lovina.
In the area of Lovina, there is plenty to do and see. It is possible to swim with Dolphins and to see Dolphins in the wild as well. The area of Munduk has beautiful rice fields. On about 40 minutes drive there is a golf course, the Bali Handara. Lovina has some modest night life with live bands.
If you have installed Google Earth, you can download this Place mark for the Villa, it will show you the exact GPS location of the villa. On the picture above, it is is the bright swimming pool in the center.
